~nIEREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy did on February 16
and March 7, 1988, adopt Resolutions Nos. 88-8 and 88-11 declaring
its intention to proceed under the Public Streets, Highways and
Service Easements Vacation Law to vacate all or part of easements
along the front, rear and western boundaries of the parcel on the
northwest corner of Hecker Pass Highway and Kelton Drive as sho"\'<m
upon the map attached hereto; and
~n-IEREAS, notices of the adoption of such resolutions were
published and posted as required by law; and
l~IEP~AS, no objection to the proposed vacations were filed
at or before the hearing by the Council on April 4, 1988, at
8:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at
7351 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, the time and place fixed
for the hearings in said notices, and the hearings having been duly
held, and the Council having duly considered the evidence presented
as to the vacations described herein;
The Council does hereby find that the hereinafter described
portions of the rights of way on the parcel at the northwest
corner of Hecker Pass Highway and Kelton Drive are unnecessary for
present or prospective public use.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Gilroy that the Southerly four feet of the 24 foot road and utilities
easement along the Northerly rear boundary of the parcel on the
Northeast corner of Hecker Pass Highway and Kelton Drive and all of
the 35 foot and 6 foot road and utilities easements along the front
and west boundaries of the same parcel be vacated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of April, 1988 by the
following vote:
