WHEREAS, highway right of way within the City of Gilroy,
along Route 152 (lOth Street) between Monterey Street and the
Route 101 Freeway, and along old Route 101 (Monterey Street)
between lOth Street and First Street, Roads 04-SCl-152, 101,
hereinafter particularly described, have been superseded by a
change i.n the location of said highways; and
WHEREAS, this Commission has found and determined, and
does hereby find and determine, that it is desirable and in the
public interest that said highway right of way so superseded be
relinquiShed to the City of Gilroy for use as' a city street;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS VOTED by the California Highway
Commission that it relinquish, and it does hereby relinquish,
to the City of Gilroy, effective upon the recordation of a
certified copy hereof with the Recorder of Santa Clara County,
(111 of the State of California's right, title and interest in

REQUEST NO. 40324
WHEREAS, highway right of way within the City of Gilroy,
along Route 152 (lOth Street) between Monterey Street and the
Route 101 Freeway, and along old Route 101 (Monterey Street)
between 10th Street and First Street, Roads 04-SCl-152, 101,
hereinafter particularly described, have been superseded by a
change in the location of said highways; and
WHEREAS, this Commission has found and determined, and
does hereby find and determine, that it is desirable and in the
public interest that said highway right of way so superseded be
relinquiShed to the City of Gilroy for use as a city street;
