Hecker Pass Highway and the westerly' 1 ine of Miller Avenue; thence
running in a westerly direction along the southerly 1 ine of Hecker
Pass Highway 50 feet to a one inch iron pipe; thence in a southerly
direction and parallel with the westerly line of Miller Avenue 154.60
feet to a one inch pipe; thence in an easterly direction and parallel
with the southerly line of Hecker Pass Highway 50 feet to a one inch
pipe; thence in a northerly direction and parallel with the westerly
line of Miller Avenue 154.60 feet to the point of beginning, and being
a portion of Lot 16, as said Lot is shown on Map No. 7 accompanying
the Report of the Referees in the Las Animas Rancho Partition Suit
had in the Superior Court of the State of Ca1 ifornia, in and for the
County of Santa Clara, Action No. 5536.
Said property was originally deeded to Grantors under a grant deed from
Henry Hayes Smith and Helen Mae Smith, his wife, and recorded on August 3, 1949,

I, the City Administrator of the City of Gilroy, do hereby
certify that pursuant to the authority given by Resolution No. 944,
adopted by the Council of the City of Gilroy on the 6th day of July,
1965, at a regular meeting of said Council, a certified copy of which
resolution Is on record in the office of the County Recorder of the
County of Santa Clara, State of California, In Book 7027, page 228, I,
as said City Administrator, do hereby accept on behalf of the said
City the conveyance to the City of Gilroy by Francis Basch and
Anna N. Basch, his wife
of the premises described in the attached
conveyance dated the
