hereby grant to CITY OF GILROY, hereinafter "City", all that real property in the City of
Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of California, described as follows:
Being a portion of the lands described in the deed recorded in Book 1740 of Official Records at
page 17, in the deed recorded in Book 9919 of Official Records at page 143, and in the deed
recorded in Book K535 of Official Records at page 1, all documents are filed in the office of the
Recorder, County of Santa Clara, State of California, to wit:
BEGINNING at the most easterly comer of said lands, as described in said deed recorded in Book
K535 of Official Records at page 1, Santa Clara County Records; thence along the southeasterly line
of said lands, as described in said deeds, S6T34'30"W 161.58 feet to the southwesterly comer of
said lands, as described in said deed recorded in Book 1740 of Official Records at page 17, Santa
Clara County Records; thence along the westerly line of said lands, as described in last said creed,
N21 043'01 "W 43.00 feet; thence leaving said line, N6T34'30"E 139.99 feet to a point on the general
easterly line of said lands as described in said deed recorded in Book K535 of Official Records at
page 1, Santa Clara County Records; thence along said line S48031 '23"E 47.88 feet to the POINT
OF BEGINNING.
Containing 6483 square feet or 0.149 acre more or less.
RESERVING NEVERTHELESS, unto Grantor an easement to construct, reconstruct, inspect,
maintain and repair the channel, protection works and appurtenant structures within the above-described
parcel. By reserving this easement, Grantor does not thereby assume or accept responsibility of any
kind for the condition of the roadway areas or the structure across the channel. Responsibility for
the roadway areas and structure across the channel, including responsibility for construction,
reconstruction, repair or maintenance, rests with the Grantee City.
