under the laws of~he State of California, does
hereby GRANT TO:
CITY OF GILROY, a Municipal Corporation in the County
of Santa Clara, the real property situate in the City
of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of California,
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the Westerly line of Swanston Lane
(as widened to 40 feet); distant thereon So 260 15' E. 470.30
feet from intersection of said Westerly line of Swanston Lane
with the Southerly line of Casey street; thence parallel to the
Southerly line of Casey Street So 630 10' W. 220.00 feet to a
pipe; thence parallel to the Westerly line of Swanston Lane S.
260 15' E. 110.00 feet to a pipe; thence parallel to the Southerly
line of Casey Lane B. 630 10' E. 220.00 feet to a pipe in the
Westerly line of Swanston Lane; thence along the Westerly line of
Swanston Lane N. 260 15' W. 110.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing .555 acres of that certain tract of land deeded by
S. To Moore et ux, to Lin W. Wheeler on March 12, 1922, and being
a portion of Sub-Lot 6A of the Las Animas Rancho in the City of
Gilroy, as shown on the Maps accompanying the report of tbe referees
in the partition of said Rancho.
