GOLDEN STATE TELEPHONE COMPANY, a California corporation,
successor by merger to Gilroy Telephone Company, grants to the
CITY OF GILROY, a municipal corporation, all that certain real
property situate partly within and partly without the City of Gilroy,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, described as follows:
BEING A PART of Sub Lot 21, as shown on Map No. 8
and a part of Ranch Lot No. 44, as shown on Map No.
7, said Maps being those accompanying the report of
the Referees in the Las Animas Rancho Partition Suit,
Action No. 5536 had in the Superior Court of the
State of California, in and for the County of Santa
Clara, and being more particularly described as
follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pipe at the Southwesterly corner
of the lands of the California Packing Corporation,
as described in Deed recorded in Book 452 at page 456
Official Records of Santa Clara County; and running
thence- along the Easterly line of the Southern
Pacific Railroad Right of Way, South 200 00' East
99.44 feet; thence North 700 00' East 438.92 feet
to a point in the Southwesterly line of the land of
Brem as desoribed in deed recorded in Book 178 of
Deeds, at page 11, Records of Santa Clara County;
thence along said Southwesterly line North 200 00'
West 26.17 feet to an iron pipe at the Northwesterly
corner of said lands of Brem; thence along the South-
