THIS INDENTURE made the 1st day of September
EDWARD N. GLAESER , Tax Collector of the County of
California, first party, and the City of Gilrov

THAT WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described was
duly sold and conveyed to the State of California for the non-payment
of taxes which had been legally levied and which were a lien upon said
property under and in accordance with law; and
WHEREAS, in conformity with law, the State of California,
acting by and through EDWARD N. GLAESER , Tax Collector as aforesaid,
did sell to the said second party, the said property hereinafter
described pursuant to an agreement made in accordance with the provi-
sions of Division 1, Part 6, Chapter 8 of the Revenue and Taxation Code,
at which sale said second party became the purchaser of the whole thereof

NOW, THEREFORE, the said first party in consideration of the
premises and in pursuance of the statute in such case made and provided,
does hereby grant to the said second party that real property hereinbe-

AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE TAX DEEDED LAND
THIS AGREEMENT made on the

and between the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara, State
of California) and the City of Gilroy, pursuant to the provisions of
Division 1) Part 6, Chapter 8, of the Revenue and Taxation Code.
WIT N E SSE T, H
WHEREAS, the real property situated within the City of Gilroy,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, hereinafter set forth in
Exhibit "A") attached to and made a part hereof) has been deeded to
the State of California for the non-payment of delinquent taxes; and
WHEREAS, such deeds to the State for taxes include taxes levied
by the City of Gilroy, the taxes of which on the property is collected
by the County Officers;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed as follows:
1. That as provided by Section 3800 of the Revenue and Taxation
Code, the cost of giving notice of this Agreement shall be paid by the
City of Gilroy.
2. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara,
agrees to sell to said City of Gilroy, and said City of Gilroy agrees
to purchase from said County the parcel of property hereinafter set
out in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof, which shall
lIot have been redeemed as provided in the Revenue and Taxation Code)
upon payment by said District to the Tax Collector of said County the
sums set forth in said exhibit after the description of the property
and designated "Purchase Price". within ten (10) days after this agree-
ment becomes effective.
