AGREEMENT TO PURCH.L\SE TAX-DEEDED PROPERTY
THIS JI.GREEMENT, made this __lst day of f)T:T. , 19_5lby and between the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, and the
Ci ty of GILROY
. pursuant to the provisions of Division 1, Part 6, Chapter
8. of the Revenue and Taxation Code.
WIT N E SSE T H :
THAT WHEREAS, the real property situated within the City of GILROY
Santa Clara County, State of California, hereinafter set forth and described in
Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof, has been deeded to the
State of California for the nonpayment of delinquent taxes; and
WHEREAS, the taxes levied on the property by the City of GILROY , are
collected by the County officers;
NOW, THEREFORE. it is mutually agreed as follows:
(1) That as provided by Section 3800 of the Revenue and Taxation Code. the
cost of giving notice of this agreement is included in the purchase
price;
(2) That the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara agrees to sell
to said City. of GILROY and said City of GILROY
agrees to purchase from said County the property hereinafter set out in
the aforesaid Exhibit A
which shall not have been redeemed as
provided in the Revenue and Taxation Code. upon payment by said City to
'-' Tax Collector of said County the sum set forth in said Exhibit
A after the description 9f the property and designated "Purchase Price,"
within ten (10) days after this agreement becomes effective.
(3) That said City of
GILROY
will share in the distribution of the
payment required by this agreement.

their respective officers thereunto duly authorized.

RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF A TAX SALE PARCEL OF
LANDo
Upon recommendation of the City Administrator. and
good cause appearing therefor,
WHEREAS. the County of Santa Clara has offered to sell
Assessor's Parcel Noo 841-53-013 to the City of Gilroy for $370.0D~
and
WHEREAS, a City sewer pipe line is located under this
5' X 350' parcel along the south line of Sunrise Park. Tract
No. 5361,
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Administrator is hereby
authorized to purchase said Assessor's Parcel No. 841-53-013
from the County of Santa Clara at the offered price of $370.00.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1 th day of May, 1981, by the
