SANTA CLARA V ALLEY WATER DISTRICT, a public corporation, hereby quitclaims to CITY OF
GILROY, a municipal corporation of the State of California, all that certain real property situate in the
City of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of California, described as follows:
Being a portion of the lands described in the deeds recorded in Book 5021 of
Official Records at Page 260 and in Book G 440 of Official Records at page 159
both documents are in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara, State
of California, to wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of Tenth Street (86.00 feet
wide) and Princevalle Street (70.00 feet wide) as said Streets are shown on that
certain map of Tract No. 6045 filed for record in Book 397 of Maps at pages 53
and 54 in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara, State of California;
thence along said centerline of said Tenth Street N 70000'00"E 10.00 feet;
thence parallel with the centerline of Princevalle Street and distant 10.00 feet
easterly therefrom, measured at right angles, S 20000'30"E 768.79 feet; thence
along a tangent curve to the left, with a radius of 175.00 feet, through a
central angle of 27039'38", for an arc distance of 84.48 feet to the easterly
line of said Princevalle Street; thence along said line, S 20000'30"E 107.15
feet to the northwesterly corner of Lot 40 as said Lot is shown on that certain
map of Tract No. 6251 filed for record in Book 424 of Maps at pages 35 and 36
in the Office of the Recorder, County of S2.:lta Clara, State of C'3.1iforni,q; thence
along the westerly prolongation of the northerly line of said Lot, S 89057'40"W
63.84 feet; thence parallel with the aforesaid centerline of princevalle Street
and distant 30.00 feet westerly therefrom, N 20000'30"W 935.38 feet to the
aforesaid centerline of Tenth Street; thence along last said centerline
N 70000'00"E 30.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing 0.925 acre of land, more or less.
