This is to certify that the interest in real property conveyed by the grant deed dated
January 4,2000 from Santa Clara Valley Water District, to the City of Gilroy, a municipal
corporation of the State of California, is hereby accepted by the undersigned officer or agent on
behalf of the City of Gilroy pursuant to authority conferred by Resolution No. 97-62 of the City

BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of SANTA CLARA V ALLEY WATER DISTRICT as

so marked and attached hereto, and are not required for the uses and purposes of District; and
2. THAT the Chair of the Board be and is hereby authorized to execute and deliver the deed of the
