HAZEL A. SHY, AS HER SEPARATE PROPERTY, hereby GRANTS
to the CITY OF GILROY, a municipal corporation, all that
real property in the City of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara,
State of California, described as:
All that certain real property situate in the City
of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of California, and
being a portion of Sublot 7A and Sublot 6B as shown on
Map No. 8 accompanying the Final Report of the Referees in
the Partition of the Las Animas Rancho in the Superior Court
of the State of California, in and for the County of Santa
Clara, Case No. 5536, and being a strip of land approximately
254 feet in length required for the widening of Murray Avenue
and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pipe marking the Northwesterly
corner of that certain 10.011 acre parcel of land conveyed
to Lee Chew Fon Company and Hawaii and San Francisco
Investment Company by Grant Deed from Carl E. and Diane M. Bozzo
and Albert and Bernice Filice filed for record in the Office
of the County Recorder of Santa Clara County, California,
in Book 7479 of Official Records, at page 534 therein;
said point of beginning being on the Easterly line of
Murray Avenue (60 feet wide);
thence along the said Easterly line of Murray Avenue,
N260 l8'W, 254.28 feet to the most Southerly corner
of that certain parcel of land conveyed to Gulf Oil Corporation
by Grant Deed filed for record in the Office of the said
Recorder, in Book 8683 of Official Records, at page 431 therein;
thence along the Southerly line of said land conveyed to
Gulf Oil Corporation, N640 40'E, 26.00 feet;
thence leaving said Southerly line, S260 49' l7"E,
254.33 feet;
thence S640 40'W, 15.00 feet to the point of beginning
and containing 0.120 acres of land, more or l~ss.

CERTIFICATE OF ACCEPTANCE OF CONVEYANCE TO THE CITY OF GilROY
BY HAZEL A. SHY
I, the City Administrator of the City of Gilroy, do
hereby certify that pursuant to the authority given by Resolution
No. 944, adopted by the Council of the City of Gilroy on the 6th
day of July, 1965, at a regular meeting of said Council, a certified
copy of which resolution is on record in the office of the County
Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, in Book
7027, page 228, I. as said City Administrator, do hereby accept on
behalf of the said City the conveyance to the City of Gilroy by
Hazel A. Shy of the premises
described in the attached conveyance dated the 22nd day of
December
, 1972--. and that the said City of Gilroy
consents to the recordation of said conveyance.
