RESOLUTION NO. 78-1
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ESTABLISHING AN ARTERIAL STOP AT THE EAST AND WEST
ENTRANCES OF WELBURN AVENUE AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH
CHURCH STREET IN THE CITY OF GILROY.
Upon recommendation by the Chief of Police and the Director
of Public Works of the City of Gilroy, and good cause appearing
therefor,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY that
Welburn Avenue shall be an arterial stop street at its intersection
with Church Street, and the Director of Public Works is hereby
directed to install two arterial stop signs stopping eastbound and
westbound traffic on Welburn Avenue at said intersection.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of January, 1978, to become
effective the 2nd day of February, 1978, by the following vote:
