RESOLUTION NO. 78 - 28
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY AUTHORIZING
AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY'S FIRST, SECOND, THIRD, AND FOURTH YEAR
HOUSING A~D COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGR&~S AND BUDGFTS.
WHEREAS, changes in the City's Housing and Community Develop-
ment (HCD) Program and Budget are needed to permit the timely initia-
tion of HCD projects, and;
WHEREAS, the necessary public hearing has been held after
due notice as required by law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council autho-
rizes the transfer of $76,000.00 of First, Second, and Third Year
HCD Funds from the Sewer Trunk Line Project to Eastside Park Pro-
jects including the construction of two additional handball courts
and a multi-purpose recreation building; ,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council amends the
City's Fourth Year grant application by reallocating $80,000.00
from Eastside Park Projects to the Sewer Trunk Line Project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of May, 1978, by the fol-
lowing vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: HUGHAN, LINK, PATE, STOUT and
GOODRICH.
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: CUNNINGHAM
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: CHILDERS
