RESOLUTION NO. 78-68
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ESTABLISHING A FOUR-WAY ARTERIAL STOP AT THE INTERSECTION
OF PRINCEVALLE AND TENTH STREETS AND AN ARTERIAL STOP AT
THE NORTH AND SOUTH ENTRANCES OF CHESTNUT STREET AT ITS
INTERSECTION WITH TENTH STREET IN THE CITY OF GILROY.
Upon recommendation by the Director of Public Works of the City
of Gilroy, and good cause appearing therefor,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY that
the intersection of Prince~alle and Tenth Streets is hereby declared
and established as a four-way arterial stop intersection, and the
Director of Public Works is hereby directed to install arterial stop
signs at all four corners of said intersection.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Chestnut Street shall be an arterial
stop street at its intersection with Tenth Street, and the Director
of Public Works is hereby directed to install two arterial stop signs
stopping northbound and southbound traffic on Chestnut Street at said
intersection,
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of September, 1978, by the
