A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GILROY ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR SAID CITY
FOR FISCAL YEARS 2013 -2014 (FY 14) AND 2014 -2015
(FY 15) AND APPROPRIATING PROPOSED
EXPENDITURES FOR PURPOSES SET FORTH IN THE
BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City Administrator has prepared and submitted to the City
Council a budget for the City of Gilroy for the fiscal years 2013 -2014 ( "FY 14 ") and
2014 -2015 ( "FY 15 "), and said Council has carefully examined and considered the same;
and,
WHEREAS, said Council did thereafter fix the 20t` day of May, 2013 at the hour
of 6:00 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at 7351 Rosanna Street,
Gilroy, California, as the time and a place for a Public Hearing on the said proposed
budget, and caused a notice thereof to be published not less than ten (10) days prior to the
said hearing; and,
WHEREAS, said proposed budget for FY 14 as finally revised provides for
anticipated revenue totaling $107,389,670.00 and anticipated expenditures totaling
$119,486,368.00, and said proposed budget for FY 15 as finally revised provides for
anticipated revenue totaling $116,534,252.00 and anticipated expenditures totaling
$122,412,270.00, and said budget is now before the Council for adoption, and said
Council is satisfied with said budget as finally revised.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is hereby ordered that the said
proposed budget including the anticipated revenues, expenditures, and un- appropriated
surpluses, as revised, be and the same is hereby appropriated and adopted as the budget
of the City of Gilroy for FY 14 and FY 15, including the posting of accumulated annual
savings, if any, into each successive fiscal year and that a certified copy of said adopted
budget shall be placed on file in the office of the City Clerk and be available for the
individuals and agencies and organizations as specified in Section 1103 of the Charter.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from the effective date of the budget, the
several amounts stated therein as proposed expenditures shall be and become
appropriated to the several offices, agencies and departments for the respective objects
and purposes therein specified.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City
of Gilroy this 200i day of May, 2013 by the following roll call vote:
