A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GILROY APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN PG &E'S
SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS TURNKEY PROGRAM FOR
ENERGY EFFICIENCY MEASURES
WHEREAS, PG &E's Sustainable Solutions Turnkey Program ( "SST Program ") provides
a streamlined solution to implement energy saving projects at City of Gilroy facilities and that
the money saved from the reduced energy consumption and operational maintenance costs to pay
the debt service for the design and construction of such energy saving projects.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gilroy
approves the City's participation in the SST Program to be eligible to receive a California
Energy Commission I% loan for conversion of street lighting to energy efficient fixtures.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gilroy authorizes
the City Administrator to execute an agreement and any associated documents with the SST
Program for the conversion of street lighting to energy efficient fixtures upon approval of a
California Energy Commission low interest loan.

May, 2014 by the following roll call vote:
