I. OPENING
A. Call to Order and Roll Call
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Gage at 6:34 p.m.
Roll Call
Present: Council Member Peter Arellano M.D.; Council Member Terri Aulman;
Council Member Dion Bracco; Council Member Peter Leroe- Munoz; Council
Member Cat Tucker; Mayor Don Gage
Absent/Excused: Mayor Pro Tempore Perry Woodward
II. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A. Consideration of Re- Calendaring the City Council Meeting of December
15,2014
Mayor Gage stated that the re- calendared Council meeting was no longer needed.
111. CEREMONIAL ITEMS
A. Official Canvass of the November 4, 2014 Municipal Election Results
The staff report was presented by City Clerk Freels.
There were no public comments.
Motion on Item III.A.
Motion: to Adopt a Resolution 2014 -65 of the City Council of the City of Gilroy
Declaring the Acceptance of the Statement of Votes and Certification of Election
Results
Moved by Council Member Peter Leroe- Munoz, seconded by Council Member
Peter Arellano M.D.
Vote: Motion carried 6 -0 -1.
Yes: Council Member Peter Arellano M.D.; Council Member Terri ulman; Council
Member Dion Bracco; Council Member Peter Leroe- Munoz; Council Member Cat
Tucker; Mayor Don Gage
Absent: Mayor Pro Tempore Perry Woodward
Council Member Arellano gave his farewell remarks.
The City Council adjourned sine die and Council elect Roland Velasco was seated.
City Clerk Freels gave the oath of office to the newly elected Council Members Dion
Bracco, Peter Leroe -Munoz and Roland Velasco. She then presented them with their
certificates of election.

Newly elected Council Member Roland Velasco gave incoming remarks and thanked
the community for their support in electing him.

Council Member Peter Leroe -Munoz shared his incoming remarks thanking the
community for reelecting him.
Council Member Dion Bracco shared his incoming remarks thanking the community for
reelecting him.
IV. Interviews for Boards, Commissions and Committees With Terms Expiring
December 31, 2014
Mayor Gage announced the interviews asking applicants to come forward for interview
and all present were interviewed.
Mayor Gage then explained that the recruitment period for those policy bodies without
sufficient applicants would remain open, and additional interviews would take place at
the January 26, 2015 Council meeting.
V. ADJOURNMENT
The Council adjourned the meeting at 7:41
