A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GILROY ESTABLISHING STOP CONTOLS ON MESA
ROAD AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH GAVILAN
COLLEGE IN THE CITY OF GILROY PURSUANT TO
SECTION 15.40 OF THE GILROY CITY CODE
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has studied the traffic conditions at the intersection of
Mesa Road and Gavilan College and determined that right -of -way assignment warrants the
installation of stop control on Mesa Road; and
WHEREAS, under Section 15.40 of the Gilroy City Code, the City Administrator is
required to cause stop signs to be erected and maintained at any entrance to an intersection
designated for a required stop, by resolution of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that vehicles shall be required to stop at all
entrances to the intersection of Mesa Road and Gavilan College.
