A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF
GILROY FOR 2018-2019 AND APPROPRIATING PROPOSED
EXPENDITURE AMENDMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Administrator prepared and submitted to the City Council a budget
for the City of Gilroy for Fiscal Years 2017-2018 and 2018-2019, and the City Council
carefully examined, considered and adopted the same on June 5, 2017; and
WHEREAS, City Staff has prepared and submitted to the City Council proposed
amendments to said budget for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 for the City of Gilroy in the staffreport
dated June 17, 2019 for the award of construction for the Downtown Monterey Road
Rehabilitation Project 18-PW-400, Federal Project No. RSTP/ STPL -5034 (027).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the appropriations for Fiscal Year
2018-19 for the Water Fund 720 shall be increased by $122,320, the Gas Tax 2105 Fund
209 shall be increased by $476,000, the Gas Tax 2106 Fund 210 shall be increased by
$476,000, the Gas Tax 2107 Fund 211 shall be increased by $476,000, and the Gas Tax
2103 Fund 213 shall be increased by $166,724.
