A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GILROY AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR
THE CITY OF GILROY FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020
IN THE MISCELLANEOUS POLICE DEPARTMENT
GRANTS FUND AND APPROPRIATING PROPOSED
EXPENDITURE AMENDMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Administrator prepared and submitted to the City Council a budget
for the City of Gilroy for Fiscal Years 2019-2020 and 2020-2021, and the City Council carefully
examined, considered and adopted the same on June 3, 2019; and
WHEREAS, City Staff has prepared and submitted to the City Council a proposed
amendment to said budget for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 for the City of Gilroy in the staff report
dated June 17, 2019 for the Miscellaneous Police Department Grants Fund, appropriating
funding previously received from the Board of State and Community Corrections; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has carefully examined and considered the same and is
satisfied with said budget amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT appropriations in the Miscellaneous
Police Department Grants Fund, Fund 249, are hereby increased by $81,099 for Fiscal Year
2019-2020.
