A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GILROY TO AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS
DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT
AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE BRIDGE
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM PROJECT
18-PW-246, FEDERAL AID PROJECT NO. BPMP-5034(026)
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy is eligible to receive Federal and/or State funding for
ce1iain transportation projects, through the California Depaiiment of Transpotiation; and
WHEREAS, Master Agreements, Program Supplemental Agreements, Fund Exchange
Agreements, and/or Fund Transfer Agreements need to be executed with the State of California
Depaiiment of Transportation before such funds can be claimed; and
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy wishes to delegate authorization to execute this program
supplement agreement and any amendment to Gimm Awoke, Director of Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy,
State of California, that Girum Awoke is authorized to execute all Program Supplemental
Agreements, Fund Transfer Agreements, and any amendments thereto with the California
Department ofTranspotiation.
