A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GILROY AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020
BUDGET BY $106,944 IN THE MEASURE B FUND AND
APPROPRIATING .THOSE FUNDS TO PROJECTS
IDENTIFIED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the City Administrator prepared and submitted to the City Council a budget
for the City of Gilroy for Fiscal Years 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 , and the City Council carefully
examined, considered and adopted the same on June 3, 2019; and
WHEREAS, City Staff has prepared and submitted to the City Council , in the staff repo11
dated June 1, 2020 , a proposed amendment to said budget for Fiscal Year 2019-2020. The
purpose of such amendment is to appropriate reimbursement grant funding in the amount of
$106,944 from Measure B for bicycle and pedestrian education and encouragement activities ; and
WHEREAS , the City Council has carefully examined and considered the same and is
satisfied with said budget amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT revenue and approp1iations for Fiscal
Year 2019-20 in the City 's Measure B Fund , Fund 216 , are hereby increased by $106 ,944.
