Resolution 2020-49RESOLUTION NO. 2020-49 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ESTABLISHING THE JULY 1, 2021, JANUARY 1, 2022, JULY 1, 2022, JANUARY 1, 2023, JULY 1, 2023, AND JANUARY 1, 2024 SALARY SCHEDULES FOR PERSONNEL REPRESENTED BY THE GILROY POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION WHEREAS, the City Council does establish salaries for city officers and employees by resolution; and WHEREAS, the City and the Gilroy Police Officer's Association have reached a Supplemental Agreement and Memorandum of Understanding Extension for the period July 1, 2020 — June 30, 2024; and WHEREAS, the previously approved salary schedules for the periods beginning July 1, 2020 (4% increase) and July 1, 2021 (4% increase) are hereby abolished and replaced with the below salary schedule changes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: 1. The salaries effective July 1, 2021 for the employees represented by the Gilroy Police Officers Association as set forth in the attached salary schedule consisting of one (1) page is hereby approved and established with a one and one-half (1.5%) percent increase effective on July 1, 2021. 2. The salaries effective January 1, 2022 for employees represented by the Gilroy Police Officers Association as set forth in the attached salary schedule consisting of one (1) page is hereby approved and established with a one and one-half (1.5%) percent increase effective January 1, 2022. 3. The salaries effective July 1, 2022 for employees represented by the Gilroy Police Officers Association as set forth in the attached salary schedule consisting of one (1) page is hereby approved and established with a one and one-half (1.5%) percent increase effective July 1, 2022. 4. The salaries effective January 1, 2023 for employees represented by the Gilroy Police Officers Association as set forth in the attached salary schedule consisting of one (1) page is hereby approved and established with a one and one-half (1.5%) percent increase RESOLUTION NO.2020-49 effective January 1, 2023. 5. The salaries effective July 1, 2023 for employees represented by the Gilroy Police Officers Association as set forth in the attached salary schedule consisting of one (1) page is hereby approved and established with a one and one-half (1.5%) percent increase effective July 1, 2023. 6. The salaries effective January 1, 2024 for employees represented by the Gilroy Police Officers Association as set forth in the attached salary schedule consisting of one (1) page is hereby approved and established with a one and one-half (1.5%) percent increase effective January 1, 2024.
