NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE OF COMPLETION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, as of the 7�' day of December, 2020, the City of Gilroy, California ("City") has
accepted as completed the work required to be performed under the following agreement ("Agreement") by and
between Monterey Peninsula Engineering ("Contractor") and City:

Description of Work:
The proiect consisted of installation of new water mains, valves, fire hydrants, tie-in of new mains to existing
mains, replacement of service laterals up to existing water meters, and replacement of water meters and water
meter boxes where appropriate. The new mains were installed, tested, and ready for use in accordance with the
proiect plans and specifications, including 8,050 linear feet of 24-inch pipe along First Street from Santa Teresa
Boulevard to Monterey Street, and the abandonment of approximately 800 linear feet of 6-inch pipe along
Monterey Road from Leaveslev Road to Howson Street and the transfer of services to a newer, parallel 12-inch
pipe along Monterey Road.
