I. OPEN MEETING
Chair Matuszak called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.
II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Chair Matuszak led the pledge of allegiance.
III. REPORT ON POSTING THE AGENDA AND ROLL CALL
Management Assistant Ruiz reported the agenda for the Regular Historic Heritage
Committee meeting of June 16, 2021 was posted on Thursday, June 10th, 2021 at
10:30 a.m.
Roll Call:
Present: Committee Member Bruesehoff, Committee Member Chavez, Council Member
Armendariz, and Chair Matuszak.
Absent: Planning Commissioner Representative Morales Medina
IV. APPROVAL OF ACTION MINUTES March 17, 2021 Meeting Minutes
The March 17, 2021 Meeting Minutes were tabled to the next scheduled regular
meeting in July.
V. PRESENTATION BY MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC:
Chair Matuszak opened public comment.
There were no public comments for items not on the agenda.
Chair Matuszak closed public comment.
VI. OLD BUSINESS – None
VII. NEW BUSINESS
A. Historic Heritage Committee Annual Report to the City Council, July 1, 2021
Senior Planner McCormick presented the report.
Committee members discussed and made one minor modification to the PowerPoint
presentation; changing “Kathleen” to “Kathy”.
Chair Matuszak and Vice Chair Chavez will be present on July 1st to provide the
annual presentation to Council.
B. Introduce Historic Heritage Ordinance Update
Senior Planner McCormick provided the update.
Vice Chair Chavez was unclear on the item and asked if there would be additional
information in the future. McCormick stated this was a brief introduction and
confirmed additional information will be provided at a future meeting.

IX. ORAL REPORTS BY MEMBERS OF THE HISTORIC HERITAGE COMMITTEE –
No report.
