MINUTES OF BICYCLE PEDESTRIAN COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING

COMMISSION SECRETARY’S REPORT ON POSTING THE AGENDA:
The agenda for tonight’s Bicycle Pedestrian regular meeting was posted on Thursday, May 2, 2017, at 5:20
p.m. in the City Hall announcement window near the Council Chambers and online in keeping with
provisions of the California Brown Act.

OLD BUSINESS:

NEW BUSINESS:
A. Review of Transportation Development Act Article 3 (TDA) Funding Allocation Application:
David Stubchaer, PE, Interim City Engineer informed the Commission that there is grant funding in the
amount of $128,578 for maintenance of the Levee Trail. These funds would be in addition to the $100,000
in local funds already budgeted for the project. Approval of the project from the Bicycle Pedestrian
Commission is required before the grant application goes to Council for approval on May 15, 2017.
Following a discussion, a motion to support Article 3 of the Transportation Development Act (TDA) Funding
Allocation Application and submission to Council was made by Chair Leo Gonzalez and seconded by
Commissioner Chad Reeder. Motion passed 5-0.
