I. OPEN MEETING
Committee Member Steve Seebart called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.and led the
Pledge of Allegiance.
II. REPORT ON POSTING THE AGENDA AND ROLL CALL
Office Assistant Zinnia Navarro reported the agenda for the Regular Historic Heritage
Committee meeting of May 16, 2018 was posted on Thursday, May 10th at 4:42 p.m.

A.Proclamation for Edith Edde
Chair Seebart presented the proclamation to Edith Edde and thanked her for her years
of service.
B.Verbal Update on Historic Resource Inventory Consultant Selection
Pamela Wu Senior Planner provided an update on the selection of the Historic
Resource Inventory Consultant. She stated the City of Gilroy received seven
responses. The steering committee interviewed three firms and selected Dudek to
conduct the Inventory. The estimated time frame to complete the inventory is 18
months, starting July 2018 through December of 2019.
C.Draft Training/On-Boarding for the Historic Heritage Committee
Chair Seebart provided a presentation on the Powers, Processes, and Procedures for
the Historic Heritage Committee Members.
