CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chair Smith at 7:04 p.m.

The Agenda for this meeting was posted on August 4, 2016 at 4:00 p.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion made by Commissioner Carol Smith to approve the minutes of May 11, 2016.
Motion was seconded by Commissioner Cooper.
Motion passed unanimously (4-0-1).
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Motion made by Commissioner Cooper to approve the agenda of August 10, 2016. Motion
was seconded by Commissioner Carol Smith.
Motion passed unanimously (4-0-1).

OLD BUSINESS
A. Discussion of Library Commission Work Plan Regarding `Bike Fix -It Station"
Lani discovered that the people who were involved with the grant at Mountain View
Library are no longer available for advice. Lani is still trying to obtain additional
information about receiving a grant.
County Librarian, Nancy Howe
The monthly report was given by Chuck Griffin, Financial and Administrative Services
Manager for the Santa Clara County Library System. See attached report, which was emailed in
advance of the meeting.
City Librarian, Lani Yoshimura
Lani gave her monthly report. See attached report.

FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
Discussion of Library Commission Work Plan will remain on the next agenda.

Chair Smith adjourned the meeting at 7:29p.m.
