The Special Retreat Meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission was
called to order by Chair Patricia Bentson at 9:00 a.m.

The commissioners collaborated and came up with the following list of
items.
Virtual park/facility tour/walking maps (digital)
Audio tour of parks
Adopt-A-Park
Surveillance Cameras of parks
Walking sign to park
Participate in CAPRCBM
Park Assignments
Commissioner Training
Development of El Roble Tennis Court
Partner with GUSD (Field at Brownell)
Raise Youth Scholarship Funds
Kids-Tri
Smoke-free park?
Mural at LAVP handball?
Participate in city events
Prop. 68
Engagement
Identify sites

The commissioners will narrow down the list and agree upon the final items
at the next regular meeting of April 16, 2019.
