I’ve lived in Gilroy for the last 40+ years. I grew up here, I’ve raised my family here, and plan on staying here. I’ve
been a police officer in this community for over 20 years, and sadly I’m slowly watching the impact of having
nothing for our youth to involve themselves in other than doing wheelies
Other bicycles down first street or join a local gang.
Absolutely yes, let’s put Gilroy on the map again! Let’s take the opportunity to really make this place awesome!
Without the garlic festival, our missed opportunity with Great Wolf Lodge, and now are slowly fading Outlet center
due to online shopping, Gilroy sadly doesn’t have much to offer other than In N Out burger unfortunately.
This is a great opportunity for Gilroy, and although people will say it will have an environmental impact or create
some noise, I surely hope we don’t miss this boat, We need this!
