Dear Council Members,
Please vote FOR a Ceasefire Resolution in Gaza and for diplomacy by our US government to encourage peaceful
humanitarian cooperation between nations currently at war or locked in other conflicts. As a member of Jewish
Voice for Peace and a volunteer with the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band, I urge you to pass a ceasefire resolution so that
humanitarian efforts and rebuilding can begin in Gaza and Southern Israel. Students in our community are
struggling as Islamophobia, and fear create a hostile atmosphere resulting from the bloodshed in Gaza fire. We are
all still recovering from COVID, floods and other hardships and can use the money spent on weapons and battle
material for life-enhancing purposes.
