It has come to my attention that a special interest group presented themselves at the last council meeting. I have not
seen the tape yet, but have spoken to some of my colleagues, and neighbors regarding this matter.
I don’t know what this has to do with our town. We have enough issues to deal with in our community.
The last time I looked, we haven’t been moved to the Gaza Strip. We need to follow the lead of San Jose, and San
Francisco, and refuse to be swayed at even discussing, or voting on this matter.
If our council is so easily intimidated by special interest groups, and their agenda then what’s next.
This call for a vote is divisive, and it does nothing to help the war, and most importantly it does nothing to help
Gilroy and its people.
We don’t want, or need what happened at the Santa Cruz council meeting regarding this group to happen here.
Please do not address this at our council meetings.
