RESOLUTION NO. 2025-50
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF GILROY FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OFFICE
OF TRAFFIC SAFETY GRANTS FUND AND APPROPRIATING
PROPOSED REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE AMENDMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Administrator prepared and submitted to the City Council a budget
for the City of Gilroy for Fiscal Years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027, and the City Council carefully
examined, considered, and adopted the same on June 2, 2025; and
WHEREAS, City Staff has prepared and submitted to the City Council a proposed
amendment to said budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 for the City of Gilroy in the staff report
dated September 15, 2025, for the Police Department's Office of Traffic Safety Grants Fund,
appropriating funding received from the California Office of Traffic Safety and
WHEREAS, the City Council has carefully examined and considered the same and is
satisfied with said budget amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that revenue and expenditure
appropriations in the Police Department Office of Traffic Safety Grants Fund, Fund 223, are
hereby increased by $175,000 for Fiscal Year 2025-2026.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of September 2025 by the following roll call vote:

MARQUES, RAMIREZ, BOZZO
