Dear Mayor Bozzo and Council Members,
I was pleased to see the Mills Act Agreement for the historic building at 7357 Monterey Street on your Consent
Agenda for Monday, October 6th. This building was formerly known as Porcella’s Music Shop, now occupied by
Savvy’s Sweets. I enthusiastically recommend your approval of this application. We can all be very proud of this
handsome building as it was made earthquake safe years ago and that restoration has been recently updated. The
owner deserves the privilege of qualifying for the Mills Act based on these efforts to preserve and improve the
building.
