RESOLUTION NO. 2025-57
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF GILROY FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 AND 2026-2027 IN THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT BSCC TITLE II GRANTS FUND AND
APPROPRIATING PROPOSED EXPENDITURE AMENDEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Administrator prepared and submitted to the City Council a budget
for the City of Gilroy for Fiscal Years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027, and the City Council carefully
examined, considered and adopted the same on June 2, 2025; and
WHEREAS, City Staff has prepared and submitted to the City Council a proposed
amendment to said budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 for the City of Gilroy in the
staff report dated December 8, 2025, for the Police Departments BSCC Title II Grants Fund,
WHEREAS, the City Council has carefully examined and considered the same and is
satisfied with said budget amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that revenue and expenditure
appropriations in the Police Department BSCC Title II Grants Fund, Fund 228, is hereby
increased by $259,727 for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 and $30,498 for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th of December 2025 by the following roll call vote:

MARQUES, RAMIREZ, BOZZO
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: NONE
