RESOLUTION NO. 2026-18
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GILROY AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY
OF GILROY FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 AND
APPROPRIATING PROPOSED EXPENDITURE
AMENDMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City Administrator prepared and submitted to the City Council a budget
for the City of Gilroy for Fiscal Year 2025-2026, and the City Council carefully examined,
considered and adopted the same on June 2, 2025; and
WHEREAS, City Staff has prepared and submitted to the City Council a proposed
amendment to said budget for Fiscal Year 2026 for the City of Gilroy in the staff report dated
April 6, 2026, for Change Orders on a Type III fire engine.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that appropriations for Fiscal Year 2026 shall
be increased by the Finance Director in the amount of $30,000 within the Fleet Fund, Fund 600,
for the BME Type III fire engine.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of April 2026 by the following roll call vote:

NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: NONE
