Our unhoused community is being told to move, not told where they can move to, just told not here. We are petitioning the City to keep in place, the only encampment that has 20 Gilroy unhoused residents on a city parcel which provides porta potties, hand washing stations and phone charge units. This area provides accessibility by service providers to meet and address the unhoused and provide them with resources needed for their survival and possible housing. This petition is being circulated by the Gilroy Union of the Homeless.
