Subject:EXTERNAL - Vote NO ICE detention Center
Hello Mayor Bozzo and city council,
I was born in Gilroy, was raised in the area of Gilroy and Hollister and happily moved back last winter.
Recently, I visited the mayors office with my students and we were very excited to learn about your
history in government and see the passion you have for the city.
I want to express my deepest concerns about the potential opening of an ICE facility in this beautiful city.
Opening this facility could have detrimental impacts on the economy and the citizens that live in it. Your
citizens. Those of which are depending on you to make a good choice for us and the city we love.
Please vote no on opening the ICE facility/detention center/containment camp.
