Subject:EXTERNAL - 7.2 pickleball ball courts
All,
Pickleball has become more than just a sport—it is a way to build stronger communities.
The game is easy to learn, affordable, and welcoming to people of all skill levels. Local
courts often become gathering places where neighbors meet, friendships develop, and
people who might never have crossed paths find a shared activity. Through regular play,
tournaments, and social events, pickleball helps create a sense of belonging and
connection within the community.
One of pickleball’s greatest strengths is its ability to bring together people of different
ages. Unlike many sports that tend to separate generations, pickleball allows children,
teenagers, adults, and seniors to play side by side. Younger players bring energy and
enthusiasm, while older players contribute experience, patience, and mentorship. These
interactions help break down age barriers and create opportunities for meaningful
relationships that benefit everyone involved.
When young and old people come together through pickleball, the entire community
grows stronger. The sport encourages teamwork, respect, and communication across
generations. Families can play together, schools can partner with senior groups, and
community organizations can host events that unite residents around a common interest.
By creating opportunities for people of all ages to connect, pickleball fosters
understanding, promotes healthy lifestyles, and helps build a more inclusive and vibrant
community.
Please allocate the money to build these courts.
