Subject:EXTERNAL - Support for Las Animas Park Pickleball Courts
Dear Gilroy City Council Members,
I am writing to express my support for Item 7.2, the award of the construction contract
for the new pickleball courts at Las Animas Park.
These courts would provide a valuable recreational resource for the community and help
meet the growing demand for pickleball facilities in Gilroy. The project will benefit
residents of all ages by promoting physical activity, social connection, and healthy
lifestyles.
Although the project bids exceeded the original budget allocation, I encourage the
Council to move forward with the project and help bring these courts to completion. I
believe this investment will provide lasting value to the community for many years.
Thank you for your consideration and for your service to Gilroy residents.
