A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GILROY AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY
OF GILROY FOR 2025-2026 AND 2026-2027 FISCAL
YEAR S
WHEREAS, the City Administrator prepared and submitted to the City Council a budget
for the City of Gilroy for Fiscal Years 2025-2026 (FY26) and 2026-2027 (FY27), and the
City Council carefully examined, considered, and adopted the same on June 2, 2025; and
WHEREAS, City Staff has prepared and submitted to the City Council a proposed
amendment to the budget for FY26 and FY27 for the City of Gilroy in the staff report dated June
15, 2026, for the Agreement with Gilroy Chamber of Commerce.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the expenditure appropriations for
Fiscal Year 2025-2026 in Fund 100 – General Fund shall be decreased by $51,755, and
expenditure appropriations for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 in Fund 100 – General Fund shall be
increased by $51,755.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of June 2026 by the following roll call vote:

MARQUES, RAMIREZ, BOZZO
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: NONE
