1. Award a Contract to Zumwalt Construction, Inc. for Design-Build Construction
Services for the Santa Teresa Fire Station Construction Project for a Total
Maximum Project cost of $12,279,555, with a Total Project Construction Cost
of $12,051,237 and Project Contingency in the Amount of $228,318, and Adopt
a Resolution Amending the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Budget and Authorizing an
Interfund Loan
Public Works Project Manager Ryan Osenton provided a report and presentation.

Motion
Award a contract to Zumwalt Construction, Inc. for an amount not to exceed
$12,279,555.00, with a total project construction cost of $12,051,237.00, including
$228,318.00 in project contingency costs, for design-build construction services for
the Santa Teresa Fire Station construction project; and authorize the City
Administrator to execute the agreement and all other related documents.

Capital Projects Fund, transfer $37,024.00 from the Facilities Fund, and authorize a
temporary interfund loan in the amount of $3,610,757.00, from the Facilities Fund
($1,500,000.00), and the General Fund ($2,110,757.00).
