community pertaining to the Amazon Data Center.
Georgine Scott-Codiga - Asked how best to have dialogue with City Council about
issues within the community.
Susan Bassi - Expressed concerns surrounding recent public records that she
submitted to the city and the responses she received.
Ron Kirkish - Acknowledged Sharon Goei for her work as Gilroy's Community
Development Director and also acknowledged former city employees for the great
work they had done while working for Gilroy.
Armando Benevides - Asked for a new data center ordinance to help establish a
framework for future projects.
Diana Bentz - Encouraged residents to come to the upcoming Open Government
Commission Meeting on August 13th.

Board's recent meeting.
Council Member Ramirez - Acknowledged the Gilroy Downtown Business
Association for how successful Downtown Live has been and its impact on the city.
She also recognized the Gilroy Unified School District and its partnership with the
YMCA and Youth Alliance for their Summer Power School Program.
Council Member Cline - Spotlighted the Garlic Festival and thanked everyone who
helped make it a successful weekend.

Award a three-year contract to Advanced Integration & Controls (AIC) for a total
amount not to exceed $450,000 with the option to extend two additional one-year
terms for water and wastewater SCADA controls system integration and support
request services, authorize the City Administrator to execute the contract and all
associated documents, and authorize the City Administrator to execute up to two
subsequent one-year contract amendments, subject to review and recommendation
by the Utilities Director.

11. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORTS
City Administrator Matt Morley expressed how he is grateful for a successful Garlic Festival
weekend and that he was happy to see how well the Police and first responders were
received by the community. He also acknowledged staff's efforts towards SB707
compliance and thanked them for their hard work.
