On August 31, 1954, Coast Counties Gas and Electric Company was merged into Pacific Gas and Electric Company. To give effect to the merger and to set forth expressly the correct party under the bond at the present time, the Company has requested the surety to amend its bond in each such case, to change the name of the principal to Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Enclosed is the executed original of a rider to accomplish this purpose as to the bond which has hereto- fore been filed with you. The rider should be attached to the original of the bond.
