KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That we, COAST COUNTIES GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY,
(hereinafter called the principal), as principal, and the PACIFIC INDEMNITY COMPANY, a corporation
organized and doing business under and by virtue of the laws of the State of California, and duly licensed
for the purpose of making, guaranteeing or becoming sole surety upon bonds or undertakings required or
authorized by the laws of the State of California
, as Surety, are held and firmly bound unto

THE CONDITION OF THIS OBLIGATION IS SUCH THAT, w'HEREAs,
The above named Principe.l, has been granted the franchise, right, priV"ilege
and permission to lay down, construct, maintain and operate a system for the
manufacture and distribution of gas, gas pipes, fixtures, appurtenances and
appliances as may be convenient and proper, through, under and along the roads,
highways, public ways, streets, lanes and public grounds and places of and in .
the City of Gilroy, C&lifornia, for the purpose of supplying and conveying ~s
for furnishing light, heat, power or any thereof, and for all or any other
purposesfor which gas can or may be used.
NQ'\oT, THEREFORE, if the said Principal shall well and truly observe, fulfill
and perform each and every term and condition of such franchise then this obligation
to be void; otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
This bond sh8l1 be effective from the 15th day of June, 1947.

and sealed this 15th day of June 19 47 .

The above named Principal has been grlmted the fretD.chise, right, privilege
and permission to' erect, maintain and operate along End across the highways of
the City of GUroy, California, poles from which to suspend wires and other
appliances for transmitting electric current in the City of Gilroy, California,
end th<::t in case of any breach of conditions the whole amount of said sum of
ONE THOUSiJ.J"D A.ND NO/lOa ($1,000.00) shall be deemed to be liquidated damages and
shall be recoverable from the Surety of this bond.
Mm.!, THEREFORE, if the said Principal shall well and truly observe, fulfill
and perform each and every term and condit.ion of such franchise, then this I
obligation to be void; otherwise to remain in full force end effect.
This bond shall be effective from the 15th day of June, 1947.
