FOR ON -CALL CIVIL ENGINEERING SERVICES DATED OCTOBER 1, 2012 AMENDMENT NO. 1 This Amendment shall become effective when it has been signed by the City Administrator, Project Manager, and Consultant. All copies forwarded to Consultant for signature shall be returned to the City of Gilroy properly filled out. Upon acceptance by the City, the Consultant's copy will be returned to him as his authority to proceed with the work. Preparation of three (3) project grant applications for the federally funded OBAG program. These projects are the 1) Fourth Street Streetscape, 2) Fifth Street Streetscape, and 3) Ronan Channel Bike -Ped Trail - See attached scope of work and fee. All requirements of the original Agreement Documents shall apply to the above work except as specifically modified by this Amendment. The contract time shall not extend unless expressly provided for in this Amendment. We understand all 3 projects are federally funded. Please be assured DHA will meet the deadlines stated in the Grant Applications given our performance on other Grant Applications we prepared for the City and the long history and wealth of information DHA already has on these projects. We estimate a total of 105 hours ($14,200) will be required to finalize the Applications according to the published Application Templates. As the facility owner, we expect your assistance in supplying us some of the requested information. We will communicate our needs and requests through your office. DHA will however be responsible for finalizing the Applications and have them ready for your signature. Our Scope includes the preparation and submittal of the Draft Applications to the City, implementation of City's comments, and submittal of the Final Grant Applications for your signature and filing with the appropriate Agencies.
