ADDENDUM
Agreement for Contractual Services to Facilitate the Radio System Upgrades
Contractor Durham Communications, Inc.
Agreement Date April 15. 2002
This Addendum shall become effective when it has been signed by the City
Administrator, Police Chief, Project Manager, and Consultant. All copies forwarded to
Consultant for signature shall be returned to the City of Gilroy properly filled out. Upon
acceptance by the City, the Consultant's copy of the Addendum and Purchase Order
including change order will be returned to him as his authority to proceed with the work.
Description of Work:
Tower Installation at Gilroy Police Range. Supply and install one (1) 124 foot, self-
supporting communications tower and the required foundation work. A new foundation
will be installed for the relocation of the communications shelter currently located at the
Fire Department Headquarters. Consultant will disconnect and relocate the
communications shelter and install the shelter upon the new foundation. The city will be
responsible for the reconnection and supply of electrical power at the new location.
Additionally, the city will be responsible for all permits and soil survey costs.
Durham Communications, Inc. will be responsible for the following:
1. All foundation work (based upon current city provided soils report.)
2. All tower materials.
3. Moving current shelter from the Fire Dept. to the Police range and installing
it upon the new foundation.
4. Site grounding.
The city will be responsible for the following:
1. All fees and permits associated with the construction.
2. Power & Utilities. (Contractor will provide termination point.)
3. All landscaping.
4. Fencing materials and installation.
All requirements of the original Agreement Documents shall apply to the above work
except as specifically modified by this Addendum.
DURHAM hereby agrees to make the above changes subject to the terms of this
Addendum for the NET INCREASE OF $107.725.60
This amount includes tax.
