to him as his authority to proceed with the work.
Description of Work
Construct storm drain Laterals F-l and F-3 at force account and field adjust Lateral A-IO per attached Change Order
Request No. 38 and Letter No. 46.
All requirements of the original Contract Documents shall apply to the above work except as specifically
modified by this Change Order. The contract time shall not extend unless expressly provided for in this
Change Order.

Storm Drain Conflicts (Lat F-l & F-3)
We are in receipt of your letter dated October 4,2004 regarding existing utilities in
conflict with the storm drain system.
As agreed last week, installation of Laterals F-l and F-3 will be paid at force
account. Since only minor adjustments were required to install Laterals E-3, E-4, F-
7 and F-8, these will be paid under the associated bid items. Installation of all catch
basins and manholes will also be paid under the associated bid items.
