This order shall become effective when it has been signed by the City Administrator, City Engineer,
Project Engineer, and Contractor. All copies forwarded to Contractor for signature shall be returned to
The City of Gilroy properly filled out. Upon acceptance by the City, the Contractor's copy will be returned
to him as his authority to proceed with the work.
Description of Work
Abandon water services per attached Letter No. 174 and Change Order Request No. 86.
All requirements of the original Contract Documents shall apply to the above work except as specifically modified by
this Change Order, The contract time shall not extend unless expressly provided for in this Change Order.

Abandon Water Services
You are directed to abandon the water services at the following locations:
Mantelli Drive
Longmeadow Drive
Longmeadow Drive
Station 9+00 (North Side)
Station 9+00 (South Side)
Station 11+75 (North Side)
This will require sawcutting existing pavement, properly abandoning the water
service at the main, backfilling and paving per City of Gilroy Standard Detail UN-2.
This work will be paid at force account and is to be coordinated with City Inspector
Steve Beams.
