This order shall become effective when it has been signed by the City Administrator, City Engineer,
Project Engineer, and Contractor. All copies forwarded to Contractor for signature shall be returned to
The City of Gilroy properly filled out. Upon acceptance by the City, the Contractor's copy will be retwned
to him as his authority to proceed with the work.
Description of Work
Remove existing landscaping, grade and place aggregate base tor new sidewalk on Mantelli per attached Letter No.
161 and Change Order Request No. 88.
All requirements of the original Contract Docwnents shall apply to the above work except as specifically modified by
this Change Order. The contract time shall not extend unless expressly provided for in this Change Order.

RE: Santa Teresa Boulevard Widening Project No. 04-CDD-128
Additional Sidewalk on Mantelli Drive.
You are directed to construct a meandering sidewalk on the north side of Mantelli
Drive west of Santa Teresa Boulevard as shown on the attached drawing. This will
require removal of the existing landscaping in this area. Plans for irrigation and
landscaping will be provided at a later date, but sleeves are to be installed prior to
sidewalk construction.
Costs for removal of existing landscaping, grading and installation of irrigation
sleeves will be paid at force account. Sidewalk construction will be paid on Bid Item
No. 63.
